Olga Senyukova

Olga Senyukova received the PhD degree from Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU), faculty of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics (CMC), in 2012. Now she is assistant professor and post-doc researcher. She is a head of medical image analysis group in Graphics and Media Lab. She is the author and lecturer of the special course “Introduction to medical image analysis”. In 2015 Olga Senyukova won the contest on receiving the Russian President scholarship for young scientists and PhD students for the research project “Algorithms for semantic segmentation of medical images”. She is a laureate of CMC and MSU scholarships for young scientists and teachers that achieved significant success in teaching and research activities in 2013-2015.

Olga Senyukova is working in collaboration with medical specialists. Her algorithm for segmentation of objects by SVM classification of isolabel contours, published in Pattern Recognition journal, was originally developed for segmentation of brain lesions in MR images. The other research direction involves developing of the algorithms for automatic analysis of physiologic signals, ECG and gait.
