Dmitry Vetrov

Dmitry Vetrov has got his PhD degree in 2006 in Moscow State University. Since then he is leading Bayesian methods research group. Currently he is associate professor and head of Big Data and Information Retrieval department on the recently created faculty of Computer Sciences, a joint project of Higher School of Economics and Yandex. In 2012 and 2015 he has won national grants for best research groups under supervision of young scientists. In 2013 he was awarded President Scholarship for young PhDs. His research interests include probabilistic graphical models, non-parametric Bayesian inference, deep neural networks, tensor methods in large-scale machine learning. He reads lectures in Yandex School of Data Analysis, Moscow State University, Skoltech.
